Forsooth, today is Shakespeare’s birth (and death) day, St George’s Day and World Book Night, so dressed as a damsel in Tudor dress and equipped with some lovely books from the Reading Agency I made my way around the hospital this afternoon, distributing said books to some lovely, cheerful recipients. The idea is to encourage and promote reading for pleasure and the books we gave away will do that I am sure. If you received a book today please could you let us know what you thought of it, but more importantly, when you have finished reading it please give it away to someone else! Don’t forget to write your name and date in the front of the book…let’s see how far these little gems travel!
