During the month of November, DCH Trust members of staff using UpToDate will be prompted to log in with a username and password even when using the link on the Intranet home page. Registration is easy and you benefit by then being able to access the mobile app. The instructions below guide you through the process. Please register now if you have not already done so in order to maintain access during November. Create your own username and password.
We are pleased to confirm you have access to the Royal Marsden Manual Online (RMMO). Find it on the DCHFT Intranet homepage or use your OpenAthens login to gain access.
Once logged in you can use the search box to look for your procedure or topic or you can click on procedures, chapters or illustrations and you will see a full list which you can click on. There are over 200 clinical procedures within the manual. Each procedure gives you step-by-step instructions on actions that need to be taken with the patient, plus any equipment needed. One of the great features is you can also see the rationale – why you’re doing what you’re doing.
For more information about the resource and how you can use it for revalidation please email library.office@dchft.nhs.uk
